- Marcie Hinton
- Aspiring travel writer Dr. Marcie Hinton teaches at Loras College as an assistant professor of public relations. She also taught journalism classes at Middle Tennessee State University and Berry College. Her research interests include women and war, grassroots public relations and international education. Hinton began her career with internships at Southern Living magazine and Baptist Health Systems. After graduation, she continued to work for Southern Living trade publications. She also wrote book covers for Schroeder Publishing. Dr. Hinton holds degrees from University of Tennessee, Murray State University and Samford University. Her hobbies include cooking and traveling, especially to Italy where she studies fountains and pasta.
